So-called “inverted eyelids” often connected to lachrymal sacs lead to a tired and unattractive facial
expression. This impairment can be caused by the ageing process or as a consequence of an illness.
An operation in our clinic lasting around 60 minutes can help to correct such changes.

Patients seem years younger and more attractive after lifting. In most cases it is simply a question of
removing the excess skin. Modern operational procedures mean that there are no visible scars as the
cuts are made exactly in the fold of the eyelid. Apart from a small local anaesthetic the patient feels
no pain. After the operation a dressing is applied to the eye. The patient can subsequently go home
(accompanied by a second person). The dressing is removed the following day and after 5 further days
the stitches are removed. If desired the treatment can take place in hospital under our auspices.
